Speaking about the maturity in the gaming industry always seems to spark debate. Recently I've been hearing more outcries about the state of games and objectification of women. I wanted to express my take on the issue, not only from the perspective of a female gamer, but someone who has been playing games for most of their life.

Bayonetta, the upcoming title from Sega is bound to turn a few heads. Pun intended? The game is certainly not shy about their female protagonist being, well, female. Bayonetta, a shape-shifting witch, uses her sexuality to her advantage and then some.

A few months back there were pictures flying all over the internet of a several sexy burlesque dancers dressed as famous female video game characters. We had only pictures before, but now there is video of the sexy strip show. The original show was put on by girls of the Devil's Playground burlesque group for a Video Game Girls event at a club in Los Angeles this past May. They returned for a second show during E3 but I unfortunately missed it.

The ladies did a great job with most of the costumes, especially for not being gamers themselves. I am a tad disturbed by Link stripping, however, since Link is a dude...but that can be overlooked I guess. Check out the video for Link, Chun Li, BloodRayne and my favorite, Princess Peach stripping down to near nothing.

BioWare came under fire from the media last year for the sexual content in their game, Mass Effect. Clueless US news anchors jumped the gun on barely PG-13 material labeling it a "pornographic simulator". BioWare speaks about their latest RPG, Dragon Age and the sex contained within. BioWare states, "it's simply to reflect real human relationships in a sophisticated mature manner."

Does sex have a place in gaming? Are games a truly mature form of storytelling? Or will the stigma that it's for children always be attached to it?

There has been a new game created for the Wii by some students at IT University of Copenhagen called "Dark Room Sex Game", where basically the whole game is played by understanding the different moans and groans before an orgasm. Dark Room Sex Game is played completely without visuals and is a two-player game with a four-player multiplayer mode. The object of the game is to find the perfect rhythm with your partner based soley on bedroom audio clues and to ultimately bring your Wii to an orgasm. I am not making this up. The four-player mode is much more scandalous and is basically a full blown orgy as players randomly swap partners to see who can bring the Wii to an orgasm the fastest. This sounds like the best party game ever!

Still don't believe me? Check out the video:

We all knew the hottie from G4's Attack of the Show, Olivia Munn, was going to be in the upcoming issue of Playboy. What we weren't expecting was just how uneventful the photo's would be. This is Playboy, not a Victoria's Secret catalog. I don't know, I just think that if you want to do Playboy then you should at least be comfortable with a little bit of topless-ness. Oh well, the photos may be more fitting for Maxim, but that doesn't mean they aren't still hot!

Check out a few pictures from the shoot after the jump.

**These pictures are nothing that you can't see on VH1's Rock of Love - but, check behind you and make sure your mom isn't spying on you just in case**

I love nude mods, they are so funny and running around as a naked character never gets old. The recent mod to Left 4 Dead is one that lets you play as a nude Zoey - not sure why she still has half a shirt on, but you get the point. The mod was created by L4DMods.com user Zaigo and he explains in the description that the facial animations aren't working. Hell, who cares about facial movements? He also reassures us that her "lovelies" do come with full bounce effects. There is no rhyme or reason for this mod other than for entertainment purposes only and will not effect gameplay, unless you are having trouble paying attention. Call me immature, but I am always down for a good nude mod.

**Video after the jump is not intended for young eyes! You have been warned.**

Now ladies, we've all been inside a GameStop. We've all gone in, got awkward glances, bought our games, and left. However, I personally have never thought to myself, "Gee! I wish these people were better equipped to deal with my unique female needs. Maybe they could play at my insecurities and bring up my weight, remind me that I don't belong here and should be in the kitchen, and encourage me to do more useful things, like find out if I'm an Autumn in Cosmo." THANKS GAMESTOP!

Electronic Gaming Monthly is a well-known magazine that has been around just a year shy of how long I've been alive! However, this month, we bid them farewell as 1up.com and EGM are sold off. 1Up is a very important site to me, because I've been on it since it started up basically, and it's also how I met Raychul. Without it, I would not be writing for you all today! In its honor, I thought it would be nice to celebrate their long standing victory by doing a small flashback. Since this has been around so long, I didn't have many of the older ones lying around, but I did happen to find a January 2003 issue. In said magazine, I found 'The 9 Naughtiest Games Ever Made'. So, what were the naughtiest games exactly six years ago? That's after the jump.

This is a video by Daniel Floyd. He is a professor at Savannah College of Art and Design. He is also an avid gamer, and one who sees how this growing industry approaches sex. Sex in video games have always been a hot topic issue, but Floyd's argument is that there isn't enough of it. He wants sex to be used artistically, creativly and most important: in a mature manner. That's not to say Dead of Alive Xtreme Volleyball wasn't an amazing game.
