Start off with a silent film era style and a mischievous little man who is obsessed with pies and you get The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom. A new time-bending puzzle title from developers The Odd Gentleman. What began as a student thesis became a full XBLA title that will charm and astound players. Check out more after the jump.
What started off as a joke between Monkey Island veteran Ron Gilbert and Grumpy Gamer's Clayton Kauzlaric in an online flash comic, evolved into a genre bending dungeon crawler of epic proportions. Deathspank was conceived as a parody of over-the-top action heroes with the most ridiculous name possible. He grew into a persona of his own, and became the star of a new action adventure title.
With only five songs on the DJ Hero demo disk, I still played the game for three straight hours. I could essentially sing all of the songs to you now, but you wouldn't want that (trust me). When screens for DJ Hero first appeared, I, like so many others, was going "wtf?" After seeing a live demo at E3 2009, the game started to make more sense, but I was still feeling a bit left out. It's all finally fallen into place having played the actual game. You'd be surprised-- it's no small task. Read on to find out what I thought of DJ Hero in all it's remixed glory.
Not much attention has been given to Klei's new indie game when it is well deserved. Shank is an upcoming XBOX Live Arcade title that had me stunned when I saw it demoed live. Not only does it have the makings of an excellent side scrolling brawler, it also has stunning visuals that look like a comic book come to life. Check out more details after the jump!
There is little I can say about Uncharted 2: Among Thieves other than "pure perfection." As soon as I booted up the game, I was in complete awe of the graphics, which only seemed to get better and better the further in I got. The dialogue and voice-acting are better than you'd find in blockbuster films. The story and character development are intriguing and exciting; each twist and turn had me gripping onto the controller, never wanting to put it down. Uncharted 2 shows off the unmatchable power of the PS3 with ease.
Ready…Set….Go!! Need for Speed is back and better than ever in the newest addition to the franchise Need for Speed: Shift. Simulation, arcade, it covers all areas of racing. Although the questions still remain. Does Need for Speed push through its past ups and downs? Does it have what it takes to take try and take on Gran Turismo 5 and Forza 3?
I've been playing games for a long time so it's not just every day that I see a game, know nothing about it, and yet am entirely sold. I have found that game. It is called Music GunGun! and it is everything you could possibly imagine with a title like that and o'so much more. Similar to Elite Beat Agents and even Guitar Hero, the players ability to shoot on target completes the melody.
A great man once said, "the hammer of justice is unisex"...That great man was none other than Batman. Whether you're a man, woman, alien, beast... the Bat won't hesitate in serving you a face full of Batarang.
Deep down everyone wishes they were that badass. The world's greatest detective is one heck of a title and I would love to have the honor of being cool enough. Don't deny it as you try to stuff that yellow utility belt back into your undie drawer. Lets face it... the thought of having a cave, gadgets, Bat-vehicles, and of course that darn utility belt, can make any nerd giddy. Given the chance, I would love to be Batman for a night. Holy analog sticks, Batman! Arkham Asylum does just that!

Being a huge Magic nerd, I had to try my hand at this strategy oriented fantasy-themed collectible card game gone digital. The game involves destroying the other player by any means necessary where you operate within a specific skill subset, varying from fire, forest creatures, black magic and others!
