SEGA isn't holding back any stops when it comes to marketing Platinum's upcoming title, Bayonetta. Fresh from the show floor of Tokyo Game Show, news of new items featuring the leading witch herself. Along with custom consoles and a photo collection, pictures surfaced of some delicious figures. Check them out after the jump!
Much like what was shown at San Diego Comic Con, Platinum created special one-of-a-kind consoles for Tokyo Game Show. This time we get to see a custom Playstation 3 as well as XBOX 360. The consoles feature artwork of our favorite shape shifting witch and new color themed controllers.
The 360 features Bayonetta on one side, and her rival Jeanne adorning the other while the PS3 displays them both atop the console.
As well as the consoles, a photo book starring Bayonetta was announced, entitled "Bayonetta Witch of Vigrid." The book will not only have all new renders and artwork but will also feature an interview with Bayonetta herself. Hopefully Western fans will be able to get their hands on a copy outside of importing.
Lastly, at the Square-Enix both at Tokyo Game show, prototypes of Bayonetta and Jeanne figures were seen. The sculpts especially the faces look very nice, but the points of rotation look off. A static statue would show off the detail much nicer.
Someone could build a mighty fine collection already with all the Bayonetta merchandise out there. I know this girl right here wishes she were one of them.
