As we all know, zombies can't get enough to eat. They're brainless, what else is there to do? With Appy's new game, you can now contribute to the zombie uprising without giving them YOUR brain... Just other peoples'.
Chef Zomboni, a special pizza chef has been bitten by zombies and is slowly transforming into one himself! You are hired to learn the ways of his trade of pizza making unlike any you've ever seen before in a mere four weeks.
Zombie Pizza uses very simple rules to create a game that is easy to start, but has challenging progression. Gameplay consists of dragging ingredients onto pizza crust in order to create pizzas that are worth a lot of money, specific recipes, and special orders. You can flick the pizza into a slot in the door separating you and the zombies to serve them. Keep in mind that these zombies don't like to wait. They're hungry now, and if you don't keep up, the zombie meter on the top left will get full and they'll break through the door and put you on the menu.
As you progress, you get new ingredients and some items that have special tricks to them. There are even some that you don't want to use. You also progress into making more than one pizza at a time, and against the clock, this can make you very flustered. What's nice is that you can move up in ranks from 'Trainee' to 'Owner' and go back after you've completed levels to see how well you've done, i.e. silver or gold status.
The game's interface in the settings and menu are easy to follow and understand, and the storyline explains everything you need to know. You can have multiple profiles, glance through the cookbook, and check out the 'Appy' button for credits, feedback, and their webstore all from the menu page. Unlike a lot of zombie games out now, it's completely acceptable for children to play, as well as fun for adults. Well worth the $0.99. You can buy this and other Appy games on the iPhone App Store.
