It is my pleasure as a writer to occasionally throw the spotlight on exceptional things made by fans for fans. Even when true heart and soul has been put into a piece, fan media rarely gets the credit it deserves. The Baroness' Choice is a weekly column that will feature these labors of love. Last week I featured an incredible fanfilm Philanthropy.

This week I'm looking at a certain youtuber who put together an excellent Persona fan trailer.

Any gaming fan loves to see their favorite franchises make it to the silver screen. Although recent adaptations seem to make most fans more wary than excited. One special fan of the Shin Megami Tensei series took it to the next level and produced his own Persona fan trailer.

Michael Ferster is a media arts student at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary.  As a fan of JRPGs, it was a no brainer he picked this trailer to act as his final project. Starring, filming, and working on all the post effects for what his vision of live action Persona should be. The end result - a short trailer that is a kick ass addition to any resume.

How do you like the trailer? Are they what you imagined for a real life Persona summoning, or do the effects looks amateur?

The post effects are great, he did a good job. I was distracted by the shots with no effect as they didn't match the rest. Overall it was impressive.
