On July 3rd in Roppongi, Capcom threw a big promotional bash in celebration of their upcoming game Monster Hunter 3 on the Wii. At the party Capcom showcased plenty of models, props, trading cards, artwork, booth babes and, of course, food. The party hosted a number of important guests, such as Hiroshi Tsujimoto, President and CEO of Capcom and Nintendo's President Iwata Satoru. Last but not least, the presentation included a demo of Monster Hunter 3. The game is set to be released August 1st, 2009 in Japan.

hey Ray why choose? I will take both :-D

Anything to do with capturing or commanding monsters or animals Japan loves huh? Look at Pokemon and that stupid beetle game they had years ago which was horrible but they loved it. I have seen LOTS of commercials for the Monster Hunter on the American PSP. I am still waiting to see how it plays before i give it a try.

Phoenix, have you ever played these games? You don't command monsters. You don't capture them like you do in Pokemon either.

These games are like Deer Hunter, except the deer will rip your head off and feed it to you. They are big because they are NOT like Pokemon, the monsters will die and so will you if you make a mistake. It's a lot more in depth than Pokemon and requires strategy for plenty of the things you are going to be doing in the game.

Seriously. Try playing the game for you start comparing it to something so far off the scale as Pokemon.

And Klasco, the PS3 version would have cost too much anyway. A lot of companies are angry with the PS3 because games are a pain in the ass to port for the console, and the cost is not worth the effort. The Wii has acceptable graphics and if the game is fun, who cares?
Gamers need to be less worried about graphics and a little more worried about the enjoyment they take away from the games they purchase. Good graphics certainly does not promise a good game.
