PSP has definitely been missing some punch when it comes to the games department. After checking out the list, I have to admit that this is the first time in a while that there are a fair amount of games coming out for the system. Maybe Sony finally took notice and will start working on games rather than trying to upgrade the system. Anyway, with a good look ahead I decided to post My Top 7 Upcoming Games for the PSP.

7. G.I.Joe: Rise of Cobra – 8/4 – Although not a new series, G.I. Joe has been given a lot of hype abd is trying to make a comeback to a newer generation. It should be interesting to see just how good of a job it does. Yo-Joe!

6. Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines – 11/10 – Bloodlines follows the story of Altair right aver the events of the first Assassin’s Creed. Altair has tracked down the last Templars who fled the Holy Land and retreated to the Island of Cyprus.

5. Duke Nukem: Critical Mass – 9/1 – The first in a trilogy of Duke Nukem games for the handheld. Critical Mass takes place during a time when the Earth Defense Force sends agents to the future. Unfortunately these agents have not been reporting back. So Duke is sent to find out what is going on.

4. Gran Turismo 5 – 10/1 – Gran Turismo makes its debut exclusively on the PSP with realistic racing and 35 tracks to share with up to 800 cars. Will Gran Turismo 5 be the next big thing for PSP?

3.  Little Big Planet – 12/8 – After it’s critically acclaimed experience, Little Big Planet makes its way to the handheld with an all new Sackboy adventure. It has 35+ levels and multiple prizes, costumes, and other materials to create your own levels and challenges. Plus if you own both PSP and PS3 versions, you can unlock bonus content.

2. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories – 10/13 – I for one am a fan of the Silent Hill series. Shattered Memories is about Harry Mason and his search for his missing daughter Cheryl. Just like the other Silent Hill games Harry will need to navigate both our world and the demon world that haunts his steps. This time the enemies will evolve and take the form of the player's deepest fears.

1. Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier – 9/16 – Although it may not be a highly anticipated game on everyone’s top list. I am excited to see Jak and Daxter back. The Lost Frontier takes place where the trilogy left off, and pushing both Jak and Daxter to the beyond the edge of Brink and into a war bigger than both of them can imagine.

There were many great choices to add to the list, and some honorable mentions are:
Dissidia Final Fantasy – 8/25, Tekken 6 – 11/24, Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squad – 11/3, Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny 9/1, and Dante’s Inferno – 12/1.

you know none of those really excite me. I loved the first Jak and Daxter but the 2nd one really was boring and NOTHING like the first one, so i gave up on it. Ratchet and Clank blows it out of the water. I used to wonder why people compared them two and gave it to Jak and Daxter, I used to yell and go come on not even close and R&C games are still around and get better every game.

Great article though and hope you enjoy them :-D
