It is common knowledge at this point that Vin Diesel is one of the greatest actors of our generation. He is, however, in need of furthering he acting careers and I've decided to take it upon myself to offer up a few ideas for his next big project. Here are the top 7 video game characters Vin should play next.
7. Goron (Zelda)
Since the roll of The Thing has been taken Vin will naturally be looking for another roll where he can be a giant blobish thing. Great news, he would be perfect if they make a Zelda movie. He could easily be the next Goron. The resemblance is simply uncanny.
6. Ward Zeback (FF8)
Ward Zebac is 7 foot character from Final Fantasy 8. He fights off enemies with his harpoon. Vin would be playing a Galbadian Solider who in later life becomes a janitor. However, this might not be the roll for him since he won't be able to show off his amazing range as an actor since Ward looses his voice.
5. Lars (Guitar Hero)
Let us say Vin wanted try out playing a rocker, and not just any rocker, an aging Metal rocker who has really let himself go. But this is good, the critics love a comeback story. They also love accents, as Lars is Norwegian. This could be the perfect movie to show off his range and gain a bunch of weight for his craft.
4. Kraots (God of War)
Maybe Vin wants to play someone a little more jaded, a little more of revenge bent serial killer. If that's the case well then Kratos is the super buff murderer for him. I don't how Vin feels about being completely covered in make-up but it's something he'd have to get used too as Kartos is white, really white, like snow white. Also this could be a great career move finically, there could easily be multiple sequels.
3. Raam (Gears of War)
There is a Gears of War movie being made, I'm not sure if Vin is playing the role of General Raam, the evil Locust leader at this time. I did contact his publicist but he stated he does not comment on rumors. Raam would definitely be a good choice if Vin wanted to play the antagonist, might be a nice change from playing the hero in all his roles. There could be one slight problem with the fact that Vin is 4 feet too short but that's nothing movie magic can't fix.
2. Bitores Mendez (RE4)
Bitores Mendez is an antagonist from Resident Evil 4. There are several Resident Evil movies out there but ignore that, Mila Jovavich won't be in this one. Bitores could be another shot for Vin to try out his accent, this time he would be Spanish. Another acting challenge would be convince the audience he has one fake eye. Plus I think Vin could totally rock the beard.
1. Vodka Drinkisnki (Punch out)
Everyone loves a feel good boxing movie. This time Vin would be playing his dream role, that of the boxing champion of the USSR. And luckily for Vin he is a method actor and will be turning to the bottle good and plenty. He didn't get the name Vodka Drunkisnki for nothing, no he earned that, and so will Vin. Plus he'll have to wear a speedo. Yippee.
