The Buzz:
-In a recent slew of articles on MSNBC.com journalists asked in several different pieces what Nintendo needed to do in order to bring back their core audience. In stories written about the upcoming hardcore games being developed by Sega, readers got excited at the prospects of a more adult gaming market. Later, a poll revealed that an overwhelming amount of people want more of these types of games. They also thought that these games could be what could save Nintendo from their projected decline.

Do you think that expanding from their current casual selection of games will help bring Nintendo out of their slump?

Announcements:

-2k has decided to drop the sub-title to the new BioShock game. BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams is now simply BioShock 2. In other news they have also denied rumors there was a possibility of the co-op since multiplayer was confirmed. For more click here.

-E3 is back. The gaming conference that takes place this June is now confirmed to be over 90% full. The LA Conference will be packed with over 40,000 industry people in attendance.

-The website for Wolfenstein is now live. The site is complete with screens, videos, forums, and tons of updates. This week's GTTV will have even more on the upcoming game.

damn, nothing for the 360 (family board games DO NOT count). I'm actually happy about that, I'm still catching up on buying last year's games.

I totally think that Nintendo releasing more games for the hardcore gamer would bring them out of their slump. I was very disappointed with the Wii not having a very good selection of games (unless your a kid or casual gamer). The only thing I use my Wii for is to download oldschool games.
