A few days ago I posted a link and some pictures from the new Bioshock 2 teaser site, along with the info was a newspaper clipping about a young girl's kidnapping. In the article, the little girl's father mentions the girl's abductor as being "thin, above average height and wore some kind of red light". Shortly after the site went live rumors of a possible Big Sister were all over the internet. Game Informer magazine confirms those rumors with the latest cover shot from the April 2009 issue:

Ok 2K Games, you have my full attention.

Wow. All it took was one piece of concept art to get me hyped. I can't wait to hear more details!

I liked the first game. Never owned it, but I played it a lot. This one looks interesting. I am indeed intrigued

Saweet.

First Bioshock was a Game of the Year title. Suspenseful, tragic, the mood was amazing, and you got to know the characters personally; the entire experience was very immersive. I've no doubt that the sequel will hold up to the same standard, and I'm totally psyched about it.

This was conscious development choice, I wouldn't want to have that particular gameplay element exactly the same as before, either.

*This is as I see the little sister residing in her bowed-up protective cage.*

@ Spooty_the_Gameguru - yeah I noticed the cage thing too. Plus we know from the teaser site that it's the Big Sisters who are kidnapping the girls from land and bringing them to the sea.
