Resident Evil 5. Friday the 13th. Horror. When thought of most people think of these items, it can bring up a bloody scene in their minds, but a bloody mess is not what Capcom has in mind this time. As a way to help give back to the community, Capcom is partnering up with the American Red Cross.  They will be coinciding a blood drive with the launch of Resident Evil 5 launch.

LA area gamers are encouraged not only to go pick up their copy of Resident Evil 5, but to also give back to the community by donating their blood. For donating, there will also be Resident Evil 5 Blood Drive collectibles. Items include: a copy of the game, bumper stickers, buttons, posters, or sign up for the raffle to win one of the red Xbox 360 Resident Evil limited edition consoles, but mainly it’s for a great cause.

So if you’re from the LA area and would like to donate, go to:

World of Wonder gallery on Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood, California from 11 am to 5 pm.
