Every good shooter needs an awesome replica for fanboys to drool over. Well if you're a fan of Killzone 2, prepare yourself for a nerdgasm!
The launch of Killzone 2 is approaching! For some of you, you'll be picking up your copies of this PS3 exclusive at various midnight launches. Those of you who are still undecided, look at what you could win just from playing the game on the PSN in March. Winning one of these babies will secure your popularity with the ladies... Well maybe just the nerdy ones?
Playstation is making it pretty easy to win one of these too. All you have to do is get your copy of Killzone 2 and play on the PSN from March 1st to the 14th. Each day, according to the leaderboards they will choose a winner. To keep it fair and fun, they'll be picking a winner based on different areas each day. According to Playstation.com, this is what they'll be looking for:
- Day 1: Max number of Helghast killed by a single grenade
- Day 2: Total Number of helmets popped
- Day 3: Least time taken to kill Radec
- Day 4: Total amount of Boltgun Kills
- Day 5: Most Assassinations
- Day 6: Highest Kill ratio
- Day 7: Most revives performed
- Day 8: Highest All Weapon Accuracy
- Day 9: Most spawn deploys
- Day 10: Best sniper Accuracy
- Day 11: Highest killingspree
- Day 12: Most headshots
- Day 13: Most Games Lost
- Day 14: Most games played as ISA
Honestly, this probably one of the coolest things I've seen in awhile. For every geek collector out there this is a must have. I know, there seems to be some trend with making pretty guns to coincide with releases but it seems to be working pretty well. Although I'm not a fan of the Gears of War series, the Lancer replica was pretty awesome as well.
