Many rumors have been speculated about the PSP in recent months. But many of them proved to be false claims. Examples like "The PSP 2, or the PSP is going to be taken off the market." Well, this is no rumor. Sony has released a line up that will definitely bring some more time for the PSP. Most people are aware of Resistance Retribution coming out March 17. But many titles have just been announced. These tiles include:
- Ubisoft's Petz series - Ok, so I know this one is not a must have for many of our readers. But this will help bring the girl to tween to teen genre of females to the PSP.
- Rock Band Unplugged - It will launch exclusively for the PSP and will have the first portable version of the game. This will also take the PSP's Wi-Fi capabitilies to a new level by including an in-game store for downloadable content for both North American and the European markets.
- EA Sports Line-Up - Can't forget some of the games that make the PSP popular. The handheld has been a favorite among EA users. The PSP will not let them down as they are bring Madden NFL 2010, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, and other EA titles to the mix.
- Dissidia: Final Fantasy - Already released in Japan. Dissidia has made a giant impace having sold 850,000 units before the holidays. This summer it will release in North America.
Other great titles that will make it's way to the PSP for Fall 2009 will include:
- Little Big Planet - with all new Sackboy adventures. It will have the same type of gameplay the PS3 version has of Little Big Planet, but it will also include new levels and environments designed exclusively for the PSP.
- MotorStorm: Arctic Edge - Another game series made popular by the PS3. The PSP version will include brutal off-road racing on the unpredictable Alaskan terrain.
But that's not all. The PSP will also introduce new games by creating two all new Limited Edition bundles.
- Hannah Montana PSP Entertainment Pack is scheduled to release this July. It will include the new "Lilic" PSP system, the Hannah Montana PSP game, a selection of Hannah Montana episodes on UMD, a 2 GB Memory Stick, and Stickers to customize the PSP.
- Assassin's Creed PSP Entertainment Pack that will include Assassin's Creed, a "Piano Black" PSP, and other content that will be announced later on. As of right now there is no set release date other than later this year.
Although not all games suit my taste. I must say that this has created some better reasons for me to play my PSP this year. I was getting pretty weary about what titles were even going to spark my interest. At least new there will be more to look forward to.
