We all heard the millions of rumors that have been going around for about now on the mythical red Resident Evil Xbox 360. It is a rumor no more! For those of you who STILL do not own a 360 or for those of you who love collecting the different editions on 360's, here's a good one for ya.
The Resident Evil 360 has now been officially announced by Microsoft and will be one hell of a bundle pack. According to Kotaku, along with the 120GB hard drive system system, you will receive a red wireless controller, an Xbox 360 headset, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix (god that's a mouthful), a free Resident Evil 5 premium theme, and a copy of Resident Evil 5 - all priced at $399.
The system is cute, I will give it that, but at least they could have a little gone more out of their way and put a damn Umbrella symbol on the system to kinda make it Resident Evil-ish. It's as if they just had an extra bundle of red paint and was like, "Hell, what do we use all this red paint for? Oh I know! We will make new 360's with it and say it's Resident Evil themed!" Eh...thanks for the extra effort.
What ever happened to all the cool 360 faceplates that used to come out all the time? Have the really cool and creative ones just stopped coming out? I would rather have a Resident Evil 5 faceplate than just some red 360 that is supposed to be Resident Evil themed.
