Street Fighter IV is just around the corner, making its launch next week. But the series has been around for quite some time. Capcom released the Street Fighter game with its arcade debut in August of 1987. Since then Street Fighter has become well known and has made it to not only video games, but also comics, card games, and even film. Fans will cosplay their favorite characters, and even compete to be the best. Even our very own Chauntuese has shown her inner Street Fighter, and cosplayed as Chun-Li. So here’s to you Street Fighter, and the beloved characters of the game.

Although it did not get the best ratings, Street Fighter the movie did have some great quotes.  So I could not do a quotes on Street Fighter without them. 

• "You got paid?" (when Dee Jay says he only worked for Bison for the money)
• "Four years of R.O.T.C. for this shit..." (Guile)
• "I'm the Repo-Man... and you're out of business." (Guile)
• "This is the collection agency, Bison! Your ass is six month overdue... and it's mine!" (Guile)
• "I told you we couldn't trust them." (Vega after Ryu and Ken's betrayal)
• "Well, I'm not going home. I'm gonna get in my boat, and going up river, and I'm going to kick that son of a bitch Bison's ass so HARD, that the next Bison wannabe is gonna feel it!" (Guile)
• "Are you man enough to fight with me?" (Guile)
• "For you, the day Bison graced your village is the most important day of your life. But for me...it was Tuesday." (Bison to Chun-Li)

Although not the most realistic towards the video game, I have to admit, one of my favorite quotes from the movie is:

"Quick, change the channel!!!" (As the group watches as a truck full of explosives heading for the camp from a TV.)

Since there are so many quotes with so many Street Fighter games, I did have to narrow down the list. I tried to keep it to the 5 quotes or less from each of the characters. So if your favorite quote didn’t make the list, comment and let me know what it was.
