Capcom announced today that PS3 owners will be required to download 5 gig install to play Resident Evil 5. Xbox 360 owners, need not worry. I know 5 gigs isn't really that big of a deal - but really, what's up with that? No news on why the PS3 game requires the large install and the Xbox 360 version does not. Just another annoying report of PS3 owners being required to update before playing a brand new game.
Personally, when I buy a game, I want any update needed to be included in the disk. What kind of update could it be that requires me to install something the day of release that couldn't have been fixed before hand?
Were any of you readers with both systems going to buy it on PS3 but this has changed your mind?
