So, I never thought I would be, but I am now following up to my previous article where PETA takes on the innocent Cooking Mama. Majesco Entertainment had a PRESS RELEASE on behalf of Mama, who I would like to remind everyone is a fictional, 2D character with no thoughts and feelings, and she was "quoted" saying:
"I would never put rat in my Ratatouille," said a feisty Mama while beating some eggs. "Like any accomplished cook, I create my recipes to appeal to a broad range of tastes and preferences. My only goal is to ensure you leave the table well fed."
Majesco was sure to plug their latest Cooking Mama title, Cooking Mama World Kitchen, and point out the more than 25 recipes featured in the game as vegetarian safe. Mama goes on to say that, even though she is not vegetarian, she fully support treating animals humanely.
I would like to remind everyone reading that Cooking Mama is a fictional game, with fictional animals and fictional food. Seriously, this rubs me up the wrong way so much so I am going to go log into World of Warcraft, go right outside Stormwind, and start whacking the Cat lady's cats with my hammer.
