We're in the final stretch until the midnight launch of the newest expansion of everyone's favorite MMO, World of Warcraft. The WOTLK event has escalated into Abominations and Frostwyrms, attacking capital cities. Your faction leaders have even been moved, as they prepare for battle... and so should you!!

What do you do in the midst of all this excitement? Prepare yourselves for WOTLK. Well here are a few things:

- Make sure the toon you are leveling has plenty of gold. We all remember how quickly you went from 60 to 62 Burning Crusade. So make sure you get your 25 quests worth of dailies because you will need all the gold you can get to cover the cost of new spells, professions, water, etc.

- PVP and stock up on honor as it will still be used for level 80 items!

- Make sure your addons are completely update and you have everything you need to start playing come 12:01 am. If you are just returning to WoW after a long break until Lich King this is especially important. Addons to help you make it from 70 to 80 are also crucial so head over to Curse.com and pick up addons such as Cartographer and Quest Helper!

- Clean out your bank and get rid of all that junk you've been saving. If you're like me with three full sets of armor, now may be the best time to decide your leveling spec and stick with it. Also sell anything of value that you had been holding on to. You might as well get something for it before the prices drop so low it will make you sick.

- And lastly, talk with your Guild. Find out if theres a game plan for who is questing or instance grinding. It never hurts to have company through out journey to 80. Find out what time most of them will be playing. That way you guys can spend less time talking about it when that midnight launch rolls around.

Once you are all prepared you can stick back and watch Youtube videos on what is to come! I know I am far more excited about this expansion compared to Burning Crusade... I am unbelievably excited for Caverns of Time: Stratholme. Where you will witness Arthas, Uther, and Jaina argue in the last minutes before Arthas decides the city needs to be purged.

What are you guys most excited about? Most people seem to be most excited about the following:

- Achievements
- Exploring new zones
- New Arenas
- New 10 and 20 man raids
- PVP
- All new lore
- Leveling to 80
- Death Knights ( really only a few people have mentioned it )
- New talents/points
- Playing with friends returning from a WoW break

I hope everyone has reserved their copy and I wish them all the best luck with the midnight launch, if you're attending it. I know I will be there... working. Lets cross our fingers that the install is not too bad... I cannot wait to open my collectors edition copy!

...And have fun in Northrend! Here are some videos to tide you WoW players over

I am done with WoW like a year now...Things like TBC ruined the whole fun of the game with daily quests and unstoppable rep farming being the tip of the iceberg. Hope Blizzard keeps in mind those things in future MMO products
