i will download it now, 2ndly though i need to find a second player it is meant to be a co-op game.

Oh yeah, it's the 11th already! I was pretty bummed that I couldn't download this a few days ago because I didn't preorder the game. I'll pass on the retail version for now, because I'm sure all my friends will still be playing Gears.

we pre-ordered it and have been playing the demo - but i am sooo excited for the real game.
the online stuff is already pretty cool - but i think with everything unlocked it will be immensely more fun.
