With this new drop, the Xbox 360 Arcade version has made itself the lowest priced console on the market.
It's a good business move by MS. Yet now that it's less expensive, somehow I doubt the Arcade model will outsell the Wii anytime soon. I also wish the price of the hard drives would come down. Way down.
Great business move by Microsoft. The Wii is still perpetually sold out, and the PS3 entry level system is $400, which will lead to lots of 360 gamers for Christmas, as I'm sure the Pro would be purchased for kids unless the parents really know if they have an inclination for Sony.

The price drop really works well for me as I am planning on buying a second 360. I don't know if you gals are going through this, but my boy and I argue (not bad arguing) over who gets to play the 360. So I've decided to solve that before the holiday rush starts.
Yessss! Now Sony should see that as a threat and lower the price to their fockin consoles. Man... can anybody tell me the current line up of prices of Sonys consoles and the new upcoming 120 Gig SKU they have coming out. I don't know.

Yeah I'm glad I bought my 360 a long time ago to. I might get a 360 arcade for the upstairs though. I was pissed when I got my 80g Ipod Video and the next week they came out with the 160g Ipod Classic for the same dam price!!!
