Im not a FF fan, as I could never seem to get into the series. However, I think Square Enix is making the right move financially for their franchise. Sony fanboys will simply have to get over it, wipe away the tears and cowboy up... or commit suicide like that one kid did (or pretended to, whatever) either way works.

i think i'll wait for the reviews on this jap jap game. it doesn't really appeal to me and this game is one of the games i hate the most its the same a what babyz is to some of you

lol I don't hate Babyz or Imagine Babyz its just not my type of game. If someone bought it for me I would probably play it (they actually have one now called Imagine Babysitter)

Thats right you don't like RPGs lol or atleast Japanese ones. I think you should give this one a chance. Atleast play the demo whenever it comes out.

Square is not doing anything they haven't already done... they left Nintendo high and dry without any further support, which isn't what they are doing with Playstation. It simply amazes me how people can feel slighted by Square-Enix simply because of the console they choose to develope on in addition to the one they already are.

Will they remake FFVII? As much as I would love them to, I highly doubt that they would... unless it's going to be the single most well kept secret in video game developement ever.

As far as I am concerned, SE should just go multiplatform with everything. I own the 3 consoles but I am sure that there will be PS3 owners wanting to play Star Ocean, just like there will be 360 owners wanting to play FF Versus XIII (assuming that Versus still is exclusive.) I think Last Remnant or Infinitie Undiscovery is exclusive to the 360 as well. This just deprives fans of potentialy good games.

That being said, I am crossing my finger for a FFVII remake announcement. It's about time they made another Chrono game as well.

I'm glad Square has chosen to remake some of the older 2D Final Fantasy games first with 3D graphics and cut scenes, like III, which we never got up until the point it was released, and now IV which had a story that, while good, had some rough spots in translation and quality, and also character development which was pretty basic. These earlier games need to be remade so fans newer to the franchise, the ones who started out on FF VII and never looked back, can appreciate them more. FF VII to me is the kind of game that you shouldn't need to really mess with, unlike a remake of III, IV, V and even VI, a remake of FF VII would be hard to top. The story and gameplay are already top notch, the only thing they might be able to improve on are the graphics at least to me. A lot of people seem to want a remake of the game just because... I could be wrong though.

I am sure that Square Enix will release the FF7 remake because they know that it will be a big hit, FF7 has a lot of demand, it was a big hit, that game was so great that they added prequels and sequels but they will not give us an anwser yet, maybe after some months after the release of FFXlll, because if they release it or annouce it in this days it will be bad for business, gamers aguing with themselfs on which one to buy (or something similar to that, that will be definitely a bad move).I think is the same with LucasArts KOTOR, they will say something or even confirm a release after the release of the Force Unleashed. Thats what i think :)
I am preparing myself physically and mentally for FFXlll, i just cant wait.

To be honest I was never planing on buying FF13 because all the game is just a female cloud =/
I always wanted vs because it looked the best and the artist who did Crisis Core is working on Versus. I like the psp game so I'm just hoping that Vs will play somewhat like Crisis Core, but on a much higher lv.

FF13 going to XBOX was a blow, but only to the fanboys. People who bought PS3 for FF13 still get the damn game lol so there's is nothing to really cry about besides I could have sworn "ff13 sucks" according to xbox fans, but now its loved. Its like xbox is that annoying little brother that wants everything Sony has. Lets be honest at E3 the only rememberal thing from xbox was a what they got from Sony's pie of games. =/ not very innovative if you ask me

...oh forgot add as long as it isn't in a million discs I'll get it for 360 but i have 120g hard drive for it so i could just store it there i wish this was on PC more the consoles since i could get this running on my xps 1530
