Did you ever think a mixture between World of Warcraft and a football video game would do well? I'm pretty sure if the idea came up a year ago, I wouldn't believe it -- But after finding out a little bit this game and seeing the trailer, my opinion is a little different.
Blood Bowl, a fantasy football video game coming to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PSP, and Nintendo DS appears to be a game to keep your eyes on. This game is an adaption from the board game "Blood Bowl" - for those of you who played the Warhammer table top games, you might have heard of it (It's produced by Warhammers Fantasy Label).
Blood Bowl is a turned based and real-time strategy game, blends the edges between sports and fantasy. From the trailer, below you can see the Human, Chaos and Orc races smash eachothers armor with spine shattering tackles in attempt to intercept the ball.
Each player on your team earns experience the more games they play, so the abilities your vetern players have will be useful to you. Another one of the cool features is the customization of the teams. When you create your team, it won't be like any others and you can show your personal style in the single and multiplayer games. Most of the winnings from the games will go towards buying better equipment, armor and other items including Cheerleaders.
There isn't a whole lot of information on Blood Bowl currently, there isn't even a real release date for it. But I gathered a bit of information, after seeing the teaser, over at GameTrailers, I had to let the readers of GameGirl see.
