Its nnot a joke, this guy does weekly reviews of the hottest game titles. I think he is very well spoken and will point out both the good and bad in a game.

I actually agree with a lot of what he said. I've been watching my BF play for a while now and it does not look fun and the story makes very little sense...at least that i could tell. I cant critic the gameplay since I have not tormented myself with it yet but i think i can safely say that Metal Gear is not my cup of tea.

I love watching the ZP reviews of games. I'm one of the said MGS fans and i honestly don't think he was harsh on it at all. Specially when you compare this review to his Halo 3 or BIOSHOCK review. But the story in MGS4 is overall quite easy to follow until probably the very end but there is alot of nods to previous games that shows you how they are all connected. Gameplay is more on the action side than the stealth side like he said which i didn't like because i wanted more stealthy bits. But overall he hits on all the points about MGS4.
It's a shame we couldn't hear one of you girls own opinion about the game though. My girlfriend actually loves the MGS series (along with other games like Okami, odin sphere, god of war, fable etc).

Although he was technically correct about everything he forgot two very important things. One thing is that althogh there are many cutscenes they are some of the best I have ever seen (raiden vs. vamp.) And secondly there are some of the greatest pieces of cinematic art in the last "chapter" that it really made nothing else matter to me.

Not saying Sid is absolutely right. Not saying Navie...oops, not Navie, but Yahtzee...is absolutely wrong. Of course, Navie couldn't tell you if Yahtzee is absolutely right or wrong in his review because she's never played this game. Good on her to decide for herself which review to endorse anyway. This just reinforces what I've been saying...that they need more diversified staff here. Having the microphone be dominated by an already self-professed PS3-hater isn't much of a step in the proper direction.
