Everyone knows I am way into everything horror, from horror movies to horror action figures and yes, survival horror games. So it would be no surprise that when I heard about the Fatal Frame 4 announcement my heart skipped a few beats! Holy shit! (yes I am a bit behind on this news, doesn't make me less excited.) A new Fatal Frame, I have been a fan of Fatal Frame since the first one, there is absolutely no game as scary as the first Fatal Frame, none at all. Hearing about a fourth already gets chills of anticipation running down my back. But that's not all, Friday brings us a new Resident Evil 5 trailer debut exclusively on GameTrailers TV. Oh man, what a good week to be a survival horror fan! Keep reading 2 gorgeous new RE5 screen shots as well.

The new Fatal Frame just got a confirmed release day of July 24 in Japan, which means the American version won't be too far behind...I hope. I am not however too excited about Fatal Frame being excluse to the Wii. Sure I LOVE my Wii, but not for games such as Fatal Frame. The Wii's controls are not yet perfected to allow such a game to really control as well as it would on either the 360 or PS3. Plus, we all know how controlling Nintendo is with games coming to their systems (which isn't totally a bad thing), and Fatal Frame has always pushed the limit to the purely terrifying, so does that mean now that the game is coming to the Wii Nintendo might dumb down the horrifying story and scenes?

Resident Evil 5 is creeping up on us faster and faster. It has been behind some pretty silly controversy and with the recent rumors of the new RE featuring full co-op play with drop-in, drop-out gameplay options it has gamers everywhere are already foaming at the mouth.

Im sorry if this may piss any1 off but what exactly is Fatal Frame? and who exactly is this FataL1ty guy???

I'm pretty sure as long as the game doesn't have an AO rating, it'll be fine with Nintendo. They dont seem to care as much nowadays when third parties release violent games. Manhunt 2 was pretty gruesome even with the censorship and RE4 before that, so I dont see any issues.

Aaron_Palencia: Fatal Frame is an AWESOME survival horror game, one of the scariest you will find. I do not want to give too much away, but if you do like horror games I would really suggest you giving it a try. Just keep in mind, it's not really a shooter game, by the usual use of the term...but more of an adventure-action-puzzley game.

Now Fatal1ty is a guy who is supposed to be really good at FPS's and has made crazy money off of competing. I think he is rather overrated and over hyped, I have seen better, but to each his own I guess. Some say he was the first real Pro Gamer.

Never heard of this game before...Almost looks like Resident Evil to me & I never played that game lol

I would be more worried about graphics in a survival horror game, the more realistic it looks the scariest.

The controversy around Resident Evil 5 is some racial confusion. Some African Americans were offended about the setting being in Africa.. Then you have a white man killing blacks, instead of the actual theme.. ZOMBIES. It started quite a stir.. I'm black myself, and I'll just say if they are speaking for me.. I don't agree with the conflict. If it makes some prejudice MF feel empowered in this game, I still couldn't care less. All that energy could be focused on some thing like Jena 6. Some real sh..
