My Dream Version For My DS
Customized console mods? Color us impressed. ColorWare is already known for its high-end laptop and iPod paint jobs. But starting this summer, ColorWare will extend its coloring magic to videogame consoles. We mailed in a PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 for a test run. ColorWare followed our exact specifications and mailed the consoles back for our approval. The results? See for yourself: clean, professional, and highly detailed colored coats. If you send in your own game system, you'll pay $99 for the coloring service and $25 per controller. Those prices may seem high, but are actually a bargain: ColorWare charges $399 and up for its laptop PC coloring services. To see the full range of 28 color coats, as well as further pricing options, see ColorWarePC.com
Now this company definitely made sure that they do the job right, as a way to make sure your colors lasted they worked with an American chemical manufacturer to create a scratch resistant formula called X2 that gets applied as the final stage in the coloring process in its liquid stage and then is cured with UV light to achieve its superior scratch resistance and clarity which will leave your colors vibrant even if they are in the sunlight because this product can block over 99.8% of the suns UV rays. You also won't find this technology anywhere else because it was created specifically for the ColorWare company. How is that for a guarantee?
The company currently does coloring on all the current Next Gen Consoles except for the PSP handheld which they will start doing sometime this month and you can even get your Guitar Hero 3 Controllers customized!! This company doesn't only do gaming consoles. They do coloring for select MP3 players, Computers, Smart Phones and select Samsung/Pioneer HD-TVs.
I may send in my DS to get customized like that awesome picture up there. To bad they don't do logo designs on there for you because having my DS say GameGirl on the cover would be so sweet! I will get back to dreaming now.
