I thought the same thing when I first heard about this. Women are never going to shed the stereo-typical image they have if they keep condoning it. This event seemed like a blatant example. After reading this I guess I can see your point in why it was a good idea in this case.

what about the other 2/3 of the gamers market i guess guys can just watch the screens well i'm a 360 and PC gamer anyway wii's well not my type of gaming

I agree, very smart of Nintendo. Kind of like what Vongaurd said; create new and more gamers. Later, when they look back, their fondest memory will be of the Wii. They'll be into games, more hardcore,and see that Nintendo was fun and continue buying only Nintendo. Loyal fans. If it was fun, people generally seem to stick to their original company...
