I have finally been able to get a hold of this game, I have been waiting for weeks to rent this and I have to say the wait has definitely been worth it. No More Heroes is definitely for the gamer that just loves tons of blood, fighting and sexual innuendos.

The game stars the character Travis Touchdown, a character who is dead set on being the worlds #1 Assassin, who lives in a motel room surrounded by wrestling and Anime Collectibles. Travis is very egotistical and very lazy, he takes on the job of being a hitman when he has lost all his money spending it on video games, anime and old wrestlying videos This game has a free roaming world and you are able to venture out on foot or on your motorcycle, the "Schpel Tiger". The game sort of resembles Grand Theft Auto in the basis of being able to hit pedestrians with your vehicle. Within the game your mission is to defeat the Top 10 Assassin's to gain the name of Number 1 Assassin. You must go through the game doing several small missions to earn enough money to pay your entry fee to fight these Top 10 Assassin's. I will say the so far the small side missions are a blast to play.
Game Controls are pretty fun as well. You use both the Wii Remote and Nunchuk while you fight your enemies. You control a lightsaber type weapon called the Beam Katana. Most of the type you are pressing the "A" button to swing your Katana but depending on whether you hold the Wii Remote Up or Down will determine how high or low your attacks will hit. When you reach a certain point in attacking your opponent you will be able to swing your remote in a direction given to you on the screen and you will be able to preform a "death blow" move. Within the game you also pick up old Wrestling Moves that you have forgotten which helps incorporate the Nunchuk.
The Graphics aren't all that great..pretty cheesy. The coloring is a pretty lame as well, with the shadow coloring sometimes covering up the character like they have a huge black spot on their body so its not all that eye appealing. But the game play is definitely worth dealing with this. One of the things I really loved was when you receive phone calls from Silvia Christel, your connection within the United Assassin's Association, right before you enter your battle you must listen to it by placing your Wii Remote to your ear just like a telephone--yes I get entertained by the littlest thing.
For the gamer that just LOVES dirty jokes this game is full of them. You can also expect lots of heads getting chopped off, bodies getting split apart and insane amounts of blood spraying everywhere. You will be entertained by this game. All the characters are fascinating with varying personalities and all with the vulgarity that we love. This game is a definite rent or buy.

This is actually a pretty good review Amanda. You covered most, if not all, of the aspects that anyone who is interested in this game might want to know when considering whether to buy or rent this game. Great Job :)

It's a pretty good game.. think Star Wars meets Kill Bill. The graphics, you'll either love them or hate them but I thought they were cool. Solid game overall.
