I was casually strolling through a local Sharper Image when my eye caught something that made me freeze in my place. A real life R2-D2! Instantly the angels began to sing and I knew that this was the best thing I have ever laid eyes on. He whistles and beeps, he moves, he dances and he even recognizes and reacts to characters voices when you watch Star Wars! And he wants to be my new best friend. So all I want this year for Christmas is R2-D2. If you can't tell...I am a die hard Star Wars fan, I even have a Jedi Mickey Mouse, I can quote just about every Star Wars movie, I used to play the Star Wars collectible card game, and I kick ass at Star Wars trivia; does that make me a super geek? Probably, but I am damn proud! May the force be with you, muthafuckas!

That R2 absolutely rocks! Though I wish he was full size, then I could strap that serving tray to him that he had on Jabba's sand barge and have him bring frosty cold beverages around to myself and friends... *sigh of longing*...

That's prolly the coolest R2D2 you can buy. I want one. This is a different robot, but I used to have an ED-209 toy that was really cool. Y'know, from Robocop.

Personally, I'd rather have my own C3PO. I went through sooo much trouble to meet Anthony Daniels at last May's Star Wars Celebration. When I finally got to, he gave me a hug. I almost cried.

They have a bigger R2-D2 than that one that will actually play tag with you, and can be used as a alarm for your room or house. And he makes all the noises and reacts just like that little one does. But the little one is SO ADORABLE!!!
