So you recently competed in a tournament? What was that like? --Yes, we just recently competed in a 2v2 tournament. (Kewtie and I) It was a lot of fun, we saw old friends and made new ones. We had a lot of support there, people coaching and cheering us on!
Were there a lot of other girls there? --There was 2 other all girls teams and 1 team with just a guy and a girl competing.
How did you girls do? --We placed 7th I think out of 12 teams.
Any advice to other girl gamers out there? --Defininetly keep doing what you're doing, rock out at tournaments, and make sure you're having fun while doing it!! Never give up, everything you wish for is a possibility!
Are you looking forward to the upcoming MLG? --Oh yes! I'm so excited for MLG Orlando! There is going to be so many people there and we're going to be competing, the energy there is just going to be awesome.
How are you preparing for MLG? --Our team practices and does scrims against other teams. Even when we're not practicing as a team, each of us play to work on our individual skill. We're going to have a lot of support in Orlando and knowing that helps out a lot to. It's great to know people have faith in us!
Is it true that you are only one of two all girl teams at this MLG? --Yes, it's true. I'd say the other girl team will be our biggest competition just because they're all girls as well. Luckily everyone is friends with the opposing girls team, so if we have to go against each other it'll be friendly at the end no matter who wins.
Harlequin and Kewtie placed 9th out of 71 teams at the last 2v2 tournament. They are the first all girl team to reach the top 10. They are going to be put in the spot light at ugspro.com.
