Well it seems like just yesterday Blizzard had realeased The Burning Crusade, but already, attendees at Blizzcon heard the news first of the second WoW expansion pack: Wrath of the Lich King!
This is such exciting news! The story of Arthas (the Lich King) is most intriguing. If I were to explain it all I'd be here for hours. So i'll lend you a website that can explain it for me: The story of Arthas
Now for those that actually read all of that lore, you'll understand how seriously BAD ASS Arthas is.. To kick the crap out of Illidan just like that? You better hope you don't have a raid full of noobs up against him.
Northrend is the new continent we will be able to explore, and level up to 80 in! I hear a lot of groaning about that, but tbh, I love the level grinding. It will however suck to have to once again replace all my beautiful epics with trashy greens and blues.
The news about a new hero class, Death Knight, is absolutely shocking! Blizzard has dribbled around the idea for quite some time, but up until now has not put it into action. Once again here's a link for those that weren't WCII or III players, and want to learn more about them:Death Night
Confirmed, there is a huge chain quest you must complete first before being able to roll a Death Knight, I just may have to do it.
New profession, dungeons, hairstyles, dances, gear and weapons, should excite even the most bored player, minimized (perhaps reading this blog) on an illidan fight as we speak. As for the release of Wrath of the Lich King, Blizzard has not yet announced it. I'll keep an update on any news that comes my way though. Until then I must go farm primals for Nethercobra Leg Armor!
