GamePro has decided to focus their attention on the main site: GamePro.com. This sadly means as of today they are closing all their blogfaction sites, GameGirl included. We can't thank you the readers enough. You are the reason we wrote, who we wrote for. Thank you so much.

Start off with a silent film era style and a mischievous little man who is obsessed with pies and you get The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom. A new time-bending puzzle title from developers The Odd Gentleman. What began as a student thesis became a full XBLA title that will charm and astound players. Check out more after the jump.

Brawl in the Family takes this week's spot due to it's hilarious combination of Super Smash Bros. Brawl (obviously) and it's style of animation.  I came across this little digital media gem through a friend who was looking around for more nintendo related webcomics after I featured "Awkward Zombie".  So to find out more about this comic and why it caught my eye, click on the jump!

The set list has finally been released for Lego Rock Band (the newest game in the Lego franchise). Lego Rock Band is shaping up to be a good with both old and new songs. However only time will tell if Lego Rock Band will rock out or drop out.

Do you wish you were Japanese? Do you eat Ramen like it is the last food on this planet? Do you crave Japanese games?  Well as for the first two, I can’t help you, but for the last one: this is a weekly article featuring popular and quirky titles just released in Japan. Each article will feature brand-spanking-new games for each system, tell you what they are, what is new about them, and when (if) they are expected to make it over here. Grab your Pocky, Ramune, Pikachu slippers, and retsu go!

Highlights this week: Shin Megami Tensei, Blue Dragon and Valhalla Knights

At E3, I had the pleasure of speaking with the guys at Big Machine Design about their Front Mission trailer for Square Enix. Recently we sat down again to discuss another project from Square Enix they have been working on, along with projects for other companies. You may recognize some of their stuff from NFL GameDay, Animal Planet, and more. These guys put together the stuff you don't think twice about, but it can make or break the appearance of a show, trailer or commercial. A lot of people fail to realize that someone had to design and create that awesome graphic. In a increasingly 3D world, the competition is tough for any design team. Big Machine Design is definitely on the right track; taking special emphasis on what their client wants, as well as the audience. For my interview with Steve Petersen (Creative Director at BMD) about all their current projects, read on!

It seems to be raining Bayonetta news as the game has just had its Japan release. A few weeks ago we mentioned Maxim Magazines Bayonetta look-alike contest in conjunction with SEGA. After sifting through numerous photos, Maxim has narrowed it down to nine lucky ladies that YOU can vote for. Guess what? Our own Ashley Schoeller (pictured above) is one of the finalists!! Head over to Maxim's website to show her your support and vote! Good luck Ashley!!

Wanna be Bayonetta for Halloween? Well you ladies are in luck because SEGA has just announced the "Make a Witch Foundation" to give you tips on how to make your perfect Bayonetta costume. From outfit, to glasses, hair, weapons and even attitude, www.bayonettahalloween.com will put you on the correct path in standing out from any store bought costumes this year. If you use these tips, be sure to send us pictures!

What started off as a joke between Monkey Island veteran Ron Gilbert and Grumpy Gamer's Clayton Kauzlaric in an online flash comic, evolved into a genre bending dungeon crawler of epic proportions. Deathspank was conceived as a parody of over-the-top action heroes with the most ridiculous name possible. He grew into a persona of his own, and became the star of a new action adventure title.

This week's Ask The GameGirls question comes from RealityLover13. He writes:

Hey Girls,

Love the site. I'm a big fan of both gaming and reality shows. So my question is this: If you ladies were all put onto the Ultimate Gamer (Sorry ladies, it's the only show I can think of that had gamers.), who do you think would win and why?

Thanks,
